Abstract
Recrystallization of 1, 3, 5-triamino-2, 4, 6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) in five kinds of ionic liquids, including 3-ethyl-1-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 3-butyl-1-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 3-butyl-1-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphorus, 3-hexyl-1-methylimidazolium bromine and 3-butyl-1-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim] Cl) was investigated. TATB can be dissolved in [Bmim] Cl, and the thermal stability of TATB improved after recrystalization in the ionic liquid was also investigated. The exothermic temperature of the recrystalized TATB (375°C) which is higher than that of raw TATB (363°C) indicats that the stability of recrystalized TATB is improved.
