Abstract

Bandpass filter (BPF) plays an important role in antenna system. Based on the background, we proposed a reconfigurable microstrip BPF based on spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) for future reconfigurable antenna system. The BPF is implemented based on metallic corrugated SSPP, varactor diodes, and interdigital-capacitance structure (ICS). The lower cutoff frequency can be flexibly tuned by adjusting the geometric dimensions of ICS and the upper reconfigurable cutoff frequency can be realized by changing the capitance of vactor diode.
