Abstract

Aim To study and realize a real-time video signal simulator of target's track for monopulse radar. Methods A target's track with playground-shape was selected and the time-space's relations were given. Using the computer, the data of three channels were produced and the rang-errors were made as small as possible. Based on the three channel radar's characteristics, the synchronous problems of different channels were solved by set a sign of time. Results and conclusion The simulator can produce the target's echo precisely. The rang-error is smaller than the simulator's step-rang. The signal of three channels can be synchronized by the sign of time.
