Abstract

Real-time calculating projectile's angular velocity in the outer trajectory is an important part of trajectory resolver design in the trajectory correction fuze. The basic method of the detection is outside measure or telemetering by rotation speed sensor, which can't measure every projectile to supply real time data for DSP. The new method of measuring angular velocity of spinning projectile in exterior trajectory was proposed. It is the principle of the new method that the power spectrum of cross acceleration sample signal is extracted by two-axis accelerometer, a stries of discrete ω-t are obtained by combining FIR filter and FFT. The tested results can consist with theoretical analysis and meet the need for projectile-borne fuze resolving angular velocity in real-time.
