Abstract
Terahertz channel propagation around urban building corners poses critical challenges for next-generation mobile and aerial networks due to severe diffraction and blockage. This paper employs ray-tracing simulations and controlled laboratory measurements at 140 GHz on 90° corner models of varying materials and antenna beamwidths. We demonstrate that corner-induced power dispersion is largely material-independent and that beamwidth and incident angle govern non-line-of-sight coverage. The resulting simplified diffraction models offer practical guidance for designing robust, high-capacity THz channels in complex city environments.
