Abstract
The static and dynamic mechanical property experiments of Q355ND steel were carried out using INSTRON5985 material testing machine and SHPB experimental system, respectively, and the mechanical property parameters of Q355ND steel at 0.001, 2 600, 3 600 and 4 100 s−1 strain rate were obtained. The results show that the yield strength of Q355ND material increased with the increase of strain rate, indicating that the material is a strain sensitive material with strain rate strengthening effect. The yield stress parameter A, strain strengthening coefficient B, and strain strengthening exponent n, as well as the strain rate strengthening parameter C, were obtained. A Johnson-Cook model of Q355ND steel was constructed, which provides a more accurate description of the material’s mechanical behavior under static and dynamic loads, and provide basic data for related application research of this material.
