Purity analysis method of HBIW

Abstract

Effect of mobile phase, flow rate and column temperature on purity analysis of hexabenzylhexaazaisowutzitane(HBIW)by the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was studied. Analysis conditions of HBIW by HPLC were formed as follows: reversed phase column, ultraviolet spectrophotometric detection at 241 nm, isocratic binary mobile phase THF and H2O (90 : 10, v/v) pumped at a flow rate of 1. 000 mL/min and column temperature 25°C. Normalization method, external standard method and internal standard method were used to analyze the purity of HBIW. The results show that the standard deviation of three methods is all below 1%. The accuracy of normalization method is restricted with samples, and the internal standard method is difficult to be operated, though its accuracy is higher, while with higher accuracy, external standard method is easy to be operated. As a result, it is suggested to use external standard method to analyze purity of HBIW.
