Abstract

With respect to the uncertain information existing in FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), the present paper presents a method to quantify the uncertainties and synthesize the uncertainties with the certain variables. The probability of the top event is calculated with the basic events, which consists of not only the uncertain events but also certain events.
