Abstract

Due to the inevitable and frequent intercell transfers, ideal cell manufacturing systems can hardly be implemented in large scale manufacturing enterprises of China, which leads to new challenges for production scheduling. The intercell cooperative production mode is presented and its influence to production scheduling is analyzed. The research background, related works, and some future directions with respect to the intercell scheduling are also presented in this paper.
