Abstract

A composite adsorbent was prepared by soaking zeolite in the solution of CaCl2 and SrCl2. A series of adsorbents were prepared with various concentration solutions. These adsorbent adsorption-desorption performances were measured in the simulative conditions. The refrigerant experiment was made in the simulative refrigeration equipment with the best performance composite adsorbent. Experimental results show that the composite adsorbent has a good adsorption-desorption performance with the maximum adsorbance reaching 51.6% and the desorption reaching 69.3%. The coefficient of performance (COP) is 0.25, and the specific cooling power (SCP) is 0.072 W/g with the best performance composite adsorbent in the simulative refrigeration equipment, reaching the requirement of solar adsorption refrigeration.
