Abstract

In order to prepare structure/absorbing compound, the ferrocene modified hyperbranched polyaminoeste (HAPE-Fc) was compounded with epoxidized hyperbranched polyesters (EHBP) modified E-51 epoxy by physical blending. The density thermal stability and mechanical properties of composite material were studied. The results show that the density of the composite is low between 1.15 g/cm3~1.23 g/cm3; thermal stability is good, initial decomposition temperatures are higher than 250°C, and the maximum thermal decomposition temperatures are higher than 290°C. The composite which use the second generation of ferrocene modified hyperbranched polyaminoeste(G2-HPAE-Fc) (5%) shows the best mechanical properties, the tensile strength of 59.05 MPa, the elongation at break of 5.77%, and the impact strength of 12.89 kJ/m2.
