Abstract

The application of poly(amidoamine)(PAMAM) dendrimer as a surface treatment agent of inorganic particle was discussed. The microstructure, mechanical properties and rheological properties of SiO₂/PA6 composites with SiO₂ treated by different PAMAM generations and different PAMAM contents were investigated. It was shown that the dispersing condition of SiO₂ treated by PAMAM was improved obviously, the reinforcing action of SiO₂ was enhanced, and the rheological properties of SiO₂/PAMAM/PA6 composites were also improved.
