Abstract

M2TNR(M = AG, CHZ) was prepared by mixing styphnic acid and aminoguanidine bicarbonate or carbohydrazide. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, element analysis, DSC, and IR measurement. The salts could be expressed in the formula of ( NH2NHCNHNHNH2)2+[C6H (NO3)3O2]2- · 0. 5H2O or (NH2NHCONHNH3)2+[C 6H(NO3)3O2]2-. The crystals belong to monoclinic, space group C2/c.
