Abstract

M₂TNR(M = AG, CHZ) was prepared by mixing styphnic acid and aminoguanidine bicarbonate or carbohydrazide. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, element analysis, DSC, and IR measurement. The salts could be expressed in the formula of ( NH₂NHCNHNHNH₂)₂⁺[C₆H (NO₃)₃O₂]^2- · 0. 5H₂O or (NH₂NHCONHNH₃)₂⁺[C ₆H(NO₃)₃O₂]^2-. The crystals belong to monoclinic, space group C2/c.
