Abstract

Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is a highly effective tool for mapping topography and detecting subtle ground deformations. Topographic information is essential in both imaging and interferometric processing, especially for UAV InSAR. In this paper, we introduce a novel approach called multi-plane interferometry, which leverages double-pass interferometry data to extract additional topographic information, thereby facilitating subsequent imaging and interferometric processing. When applied to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) InSAR, the proposed method shows promising performance on actual datasets, highlighting its effectiveness and potential for broader applications.
