Abstract

The precoded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with adaptive vector channel allocation can provide more protection against errors to more important layers in the layered bit stream structure of scalable video. The vector channel allocation information feedback to the transmitter end is the vector channel indexes. Simulation results have demonstrated the robustness of the proposed scheme to noise and fading inherent in wireless channel.
