Abstract
This paper proposes a preassigned-convergence hybrid optimal guidance law for dual-control missiles characterized by the integration of aerodynamic fins and lateral jets. To address the inherent coupling between terminal Line-of-Sight (LOS) angle and miss distance constraints, a two-stage optimization framework is established within a linearized coordinate frame, where the predicted terminal LOS angle is enforced to converge at a preassigned switching time. By applying Pontryagin’s Minimum Principle, analytical optimal control solutions are derived through a comprehensive case analysis of dual-actuator combinations. This strategy effectively decouples the terminal constraints, preventing lateral acceleration command competition and significantly reducing both terminal maneuver demands and energy consumption. Numerical simulations validate the effectiveness and superior performance of the proposed guidance law.
