Abstract

An analysis and optimization method of assembly precision in virtual environment was proposed for the connecting precision of missile sections. A concept of product assembly precision pre-analysis was defined, and its application in different phases of actual production was described. According to the effect of all kinds of assembly errors caused by the different connecting methods of missile sections on the flight performance of missile, a product assembly tolerance model was established. The assembly precision was optimized based on the transfer coefficients of dimensions and the machining difficulty coefficients of dimensions. The pre-analysis method of connecting precision of missile sections was verified by calculating the missile vertex offset caused with the section connecting deflection through taking a certain missile as example.
