Abstract

Accurate estimation of polarization parameters of jamming signals is usually necessary for implementing effective radar anti-jamming measures in polarization domain. To improve estimation performance, this paper proposes a four-probe two-dimensional golden section method (FPGSM) based on the peak-to-sidelobe level (PSL) of the jamming signals. The mixed echo signal model of target and jamming is firstly built by the polarization representation method. Then, the four-probe two-dimensional golden section based jamming parameter evaluation model and its procedure is presented. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed improved algorithm can achieve an estimation accuracy of over 90%, as well as a good resistance against noise.
