Abstract

The piezoelectric material is the key of preparing the energy harvesting device with high performance as a kind of core functional material for environmental vibration energy harvesting device. The 0.7Pb(Zr 0.51Ti 0.49) 0.99O 3 - 0.3Pb(Zn 1/3Nb 2/3)O 3(PZT-PZN) piezoelectric ceramic were prepared by the two step synthetic method. The effect of different doped mass contents of La 2O 3 on the crystallographic phase and electromechanical properties have been studied. The results showed that the piezoelectric coefficient d 33, the electromechanical coupling factor (k 31, k p) and the dielectric constant ε r have been improved with little La 2O 3 dopants. The PZT-PZN ceramic sintered with 4% La 2O 3 doping possesses the optimum propeties of d 33=560 pC/N, k 31=0.376, k p=0.642, s 11 E = 16.5×10 -12m 2/N, ε r=3125.
