Abstract
Four metallaprisms were synthesized by the selective combination of (p-cymene)Ru-corners, bis(β-diketone) pillars, and multi-functional pyridyl linkers. They have large cavities and exhibit photoluminescence in CH2Cl2 solvent, particularly the employment of AIE-active ligand tetra-(4-pyridylphenyl)ethylene (TPPE) endows one of them with AIE properties.
