Abstract
To estimate the period of medium plate double-stands production line with parameter perturbation, a computation method is presented to estimate the period of actual system based on its state-space model in max-algebra. The research result shows that compared with the actual algorithm to compute the period, the proposed method can estimate the upper bound of the period of serial production line under parameter perturbation with lower computation. Also, the measure to improve rolling technology is proposed to prevent production blocking caused by the parameters perturbation so as to increase the security of the serial production line.
