Abstract
By combining orthogonal test with neural network, the power model, economy model and emission model between the engine performance and operation parameter were established. The goal function, and restrain conditions based on these models and the feasibility of adopting genetic algorithm to optimize are presented. Power performance and exhaust emission experimental studies of a 913CNG electronic-controlled natural gas engine were carried out. Result of experiment shows that the power performance of natural gas engine reached the index of design, the exhaust emission met the needs of national standard.
