Abstract

The influence of the envelope of pulse radar signal on the intermediate frequency sampling is investigated, especially the influence of non-ideal envelope on mirror frequency rejection is studied, and the main influences of mirror frequency and amplitude loss are pointed out. As a special case, the effect of rectangular-envelope-edge of pulse signal on intermediate frequency sampling is carefully studied. The influence of different parameters on mirror frequency rejection is analyzed to ensure the pulse edge character after intermediate frequency sampling and to reduce mirror frequency as much as possible. Moreover, the influence of mirror frequency rejection of intermediate frequency sampling is researched for linear modulated frequency pulse signal.
