Abstract

Detection and motion estimation of weak, high-speed and maneuvering targets are urgently needed in modern radar, and long-time integration is an effective method to improve the performance. This paper studies motion parameter estimation based on hybrid integration in a long time. For uniformly accelerated targets, this paper derives the closed-form expressions of the resolutions of range, velocity and acceleration of the hybrid integration, which are different from the existing results of coherent integration methods. This work is helpful to analyze the estimation performance as well as to speed up the implementation of the hybrid integration. Finally, some results of numeral experiments are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the above analysis.
