Abstract

In this paper, the performance of a distributed network with randomly distributed nodes is analyzed using stochastic geometry theory. In the considered network, some nodes act as relays to facilitate the communication between certain source node and its corresponding destination node. For relay nodes, decode-and-forward protocol is adopted and then both outage probability and density of successful transmission are derived based on stochastic geometry theory.
