Abstract

Beamforming technology is one of the key technologies of radio fuze, which can improve the fuze-warhead efficiency and the fuze anti-interference ability. This paper firstly researches two optimization methods to the algorithm according to the special requirements of the fuze antenna beamforming. The first is suppression to the former sidelobe of the beam pattern which can improve the fuze target detection capability. The second is widening the narrow and steep nulling of the antenna beamform pattern. Then, the optimization effect is tested in Matlab. The test result shows that the former sidelobe of the fuze antenna reduced more than 10dB. Wide nulling techniques solve the problem that the fuze antenna's nulling is narrow and steep, improving the stability of the beamforming system.
