Abstract
This paper proposes a cooperative guidance method based on a dynamic coverage strategy for intercepting targets with superior maneuverability. Firstly, the interception domain for bias proportional guidance law with time-varying bias Zero-Effort-Miss (ZEM) is derived. By optimizing the guidance control consumption of all interceptors, the optimal bias ZEM for each interceptor is derived analytically, which is subsequently leveraged to construct a dynamic cooperative encirclement formation such that the maneuver range of the target can be covered by the interceptable ranges of multiple interceptors. Furthermore, the optimal initial heading angle of each interceptor and the required number of interceptors are also determined based on the Karush–Kuhn–Tucker (KKT) condition of the optimization problem. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
