Abstract

According to the special requirements of reflector and receiver construction of the non-tracking internal-concentrator solar PV-thermal tube collector, the CPC design method presented by Winston was applied to optical design for the compound parabolic concentrator used for the half cylinder absorber and the theoretical concentrator was obtained. Solar retrace of the concentrator and radiation distribution on the absorber surface at different incident angles were simulated.
