Abstract

In this paper, a kind of concatenated modulation with OPPM and PWM for LED indoor communication is proposed. 400 Mbit/s bit rate is achieved in analysis and 50 Mbit/s transmission rate is demonstrated in experiments. The Monte Carlo simulations are applied to get the BER curves of the system based on the AWGN channel. The modified bit-flipping algorithm could get 2dB coding gain more than the standard bit-flipping algorithm at the BER level of about 1e-5.
