Abstract

To clarify the influence of complicate terrain in the under-river tunnel on the trains' operation and provide the theoretical foundation for trains' operation design, two trains on the long and big slope in the tunnel in Wuhan Railway No.2 Routine Project were modeled. Operation simulation of two trains' relative movements under the normal and different power fault condition was performed and visualized synchronously according to simulation results based on the Simulink/Virtual Reality Toolbox. It helps to disclose interaction between complicate slope terrain in the tunnel and operation maximum speed and departure interval, and direct trains' operation design under that condition.
