Abstract
The creep buckling of viscoelastic plates with initial deflections, subjected to axial compressive force, was analyzed. The governing equation was developed according to the classical thin plates theory. An analytical solution of deflection varying with time was obtained by solving the governing equation and then instantaneous critical loads and durable critical loads of plates with different length-width ratios were got.
