Abstract

This paper addresses the bumpless transfer problem in drag-free satellites used for space gravitational wave detection. To ensure a smooth trajectory of the test masses (TM) operating across various control modes, an ideal transition set is introduced. A method based on controller initialization is proposed, which aims to mitigate the transfer bumps at switching times by selecting the optimal initial conditions for both the drag-free controller and the electrostatic suspension controller. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through simulation.
