Abstract

A filtering-tolerant, offset RZ pulse shape for 128Gb/s PDM-QPSK was proposed for the first time. On a 25GHz grid, 0.8 and 0.2dB OSNR penalties at SD pre-FEC BER limit were experimentally and numerically demonstrated, respectively.
