Abstract

The difference format of SOLA and projection algorithm were introduced to solve the control equation of bubble motion in underwater explosion. The dynamic behavior of bubble near free surface was simulated and analyzed with VOF and MSC. DYTRAN software. The computational results show that the VOF method can accurately track and reconstruct the motion of bubbles based on projection algorithm combined with the SOLA difference format. The interactions between bubble and free surface were studied systematically and summarized the dynamic behaviors of bubbles, including the influence of distance parameter on bubble collapse, eject and annularity bubble, that have close relation with distance parameter.
