Abstract

In order to study an effective method for determining the depth of penetration, simulation software was used to simulate kinetic energy of shells penetrate the concrete thick target. Through the effective control of the grid, select of target plate material failure mode and missile division to acquire overload characteristics which basically consistent with experimental. The processed displacement results in line with simulation results after filtering and integration of signals. Which indicating that this method is reasonable and effective, and provide the basis for the method of determining the penetration depth.
