Numerical simulation on influence of axial asymmetric charge on the shape of rod-like jet

Abstract

This paper was based on a tentative idea of changing the shape of a rod-like jet to improve its detonating ability. Numerical simulations were adopted to analyze the forming mechanism of a jet shape. The numerical results show that long axial detonation radius influence the shape of the rod-like jet, the axial asymmetric detonation wave shape and pressure distribution make the load of linear axial asymmetric, the linearity becomes axial asymmetric rod-like jet, the linear inverse-velocity gradient on long axial line makes the axial asymmetric rod-like jet tip big.
