Abstract

9-storied frame structures with common node separate reinforced concrete model were set up. The numerical simulation of structural unidirectional folding blasting demolition was carried out, in which two conditions with and without filler wall were considered. Collapse time, backlash distance, and bearing to failure process were compared and analyzed. Results show that common node separate model can reflect the mechanical property difference of rebar and concrete material. Through the comparison of collapse speed and pileup height, the conclusion is drawn that filler wall plays an important role in collapse process. Destroy the filler wall to the full can weaken structural stiffness, and the structure will disaggregate easily, and the pileup height can be decreased significantly.
