Abstract

A theoretical research on an injection-seeded BBO optical parametric oscillator (OPO) was made through numerical simulation, and the results show that the injection-seeding not only reduces the linewidth of the laser output, but also lowers the OPO's threshold and improves the conversion efficiency. The experimental results show that these theoretical conclusions are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
