Abstract
By using the dynamic finite element software AUTODYN 3D, the dynamic response of circular concrete-filled steel tubes with different forms of cross-section are analyzed. The research proves that the steel casing can effectively reduce explosion stress wave which entry into the core concrete. It also shows that the hollow ratio and steel ratio have a greater impact on anti-blast performance of hollow concrete-filled steel tube. The pressure and velocity of the same position in different cross-section forms of concrete will decrease while the hollow ratio and steel ratio increase. The propagation of the explosion stress wave can be separated by hollow part and it is in favor of restrictions for the expansion of crushing zone in core concrete.
