Abstract

Adaptive array beamforming achieves high resolution and sidelobe suppression by producing sharp nulls in the adaptive beampattern. But GPS receiver always works on the platform which vibrates strenuously, the sharp nulls will not effectively suppress the interferences. In this paper, an approach to the multistage nested Wiener filter (MSNWF) algorithm with null broadening is proposed. This algorithm is based on the joint space-time processor. Our computer simulation results for a 7-element adaptive array are presented to show the effectiveness of this new method.
