Abstract

A non-intrusive parameter identification method of induction motor was presented. The circle track of steady terminal current of induction motor can be fitted based on the fact that the start-up terminal current of induction motor has circle characteristics in some periods of the start-up process. At the same time, a set of mathematical expressions based on the circle diagram of motor for parameter identification of induction motor was deduced from the basic equations of the induction motor. The parameter identification results of physical experiment show that the proposed method has high precision and is convenient. Since this method can be implemented at load port without intruding into the inner side of the power customers, it is significant to the power load management, the electrical energy conservation and even the power load dynamic characteristic investigation.
