Non-equilibrium statistical model of biologic materials

Abstract

In order to study the composition of biologic materials and its mineral makeup, a non-equilibrium statistical model of the evolution process of biologic materials and the process of bio-mineralization, correlating the microscopic mechanism with macroscopic properties has been constructed. The model adopted describes statistically the process of bio-mineralization including the stochastic fluctuation theory, stochastic evolution equation and fluctuation growth coefficient, thereby obtaining the formula of the average size of bio-mineralization and is compared with the experimental result. It is shown that the theory is correct.
