Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a new theoretical technique first developed by us to describe ion-atom collisions. We take the particular collision reaction channel of H+ + Na(3s) → H+ + Na(3p) which has been extensively investigated theoretically and experimentally just as a check calculation case to show that our innovation has the potential to be a candidate for novel theoretical approach to investigate ion-atom collisions.
