Abstract

In low signal-to-clutter ratio, in order to solve the problem of the terminal threshold setting and poor capability in tracking with the moving target based on dynamic programming (DP) algorithm, the characteristic with two-steps detection thresholds in radar track-before-detect (TBD) is analysed. In the background of Rayleigh clutter, signals after optimizing are confidence tested and trajectory calibrated. This algorithm makes terminal threshold setting easy and improves the track probability. Simulations testify the validity of the new algorithm.
