Abstract

Two new methods used in high firing-rate muzzle velocity radar system are presented. A time-frequency algorithm is presented instead of the conventional FFT-based algorithm to get a high resolution of Doppler frequency caused by different bullets. And a wavelet algorithm is presented to calculate the exact time when the bullets are fired out of muzzle instead of conventional optical sensor methods. And the simulation results show those new methods more effective than old one.
