Abstract
By solving the Dyson-Schwinger equations and analyzing the obtained mass function, we compute the quark condensate beyond the chiral limit with a cutoff independent definition. The definition explicitly separates the quadratic and logarithmic divergence from the condensate, even for very large quark mass. With this well-defined condensate, we then analyze the evolution of the condensate and its susceptibility with the current quark mass. The susceptibility shows a critical mass at about ΛQCD, which defines a transition boundary for internal hadron dynamics.
