Abstract

New advances of organic synthetic reactions and catalytic asymmetric reactions in ionic liquid media are summarized in this paper. The reactions highlighted include reduction, oxidation, Friedel-Crafts reaction, Diels-Alder reaction, cross-coupling reaction, addition reaction, condensation reaction, radical reaction, Witting reaction, rearrangement reaction and catalytic asymmetric reactions and other applications in organic synthesis.
