Abstract

The key structural parameters of the common rail injector have large impact on the response time of the injector. The MOSA (Multi Objective Simulated Annealing) method was used to optimize the parameters of the injector. Based on the multi-objective optimization platform, mode FRONTIER, integrated with the hydraulic simulation software, AMESim, the aim function is the delay of the opening and closing of the nozzle. The results show that the delay of the opening is 0.24 ms which reduces 20%; while the delay of the closing is 0.76 ms, which reduces 17.4%.
