Abstract

The BIT wheelchair design is presented with its modular design features for its user-oriented application at home, in exercising centers, and in hospital frames. It can be used in different solutions for different levels of motion assistance combining locomotion, exercising, and rehabilitation. The three design features are presented as function of the operation of the equipment with mechatronic solutions in modular design structures.
