Modeling the visual system of electric tracked bulldozers driving simulator

Abstract

A new development approach of the visual simulation of crawler dozer based on 3DS MAX and MULTIGEN CREATOR is proposed. It is mainly built by using the former's particle system and the latter's excellent data structure. A 3D model using 3DS MAX in Virtual Reality is very common, but using its particle system is rare, especially modeling the clods are generated when the dozer working. In addition, a new software for visual simulation is introduced-SimCreator, the 3D model is immported into the demo with SimCreator, finally modeling the electric tracked bulldozers in MATLAB/SIMULINK. And the last scene of the real-time simulation demonstrates that the method used in this paper is a good way to improve the immersion of simulator.
